After...I tried to make the wings appear to overlap...it'll be more evident when glazed.

What clay body do you use for your sculptures? I just finished a set of owl mugs (cartoonish designs) and was pleased to see other birds out there! Yours are beautiful designs and I can't wait to see the glazed results.
